eCopy Desktop

eCopy Desktop is the client-based software that provides network users with the ability to treat eCopy document files just like paper, right on their desktop computer. With eCopy Desktop, users can view and annotate, perform Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to generate editable text, and store or distribute eCopies from their desktops. eCopy Desktop also allows users to combine or separate pages from multiple eCopies, to create a new document of selected pages, or attach a signature stamp.

For easy distribution of eCopies, the Desktop software simply uses the system's native email application to create emails with the eCopy as an attachment. Users utilize the familiar email interface to select a recipient, add a subject line and cover note, and send the eCopy on its way.

eCopy Desktop works with most network fax, email and document management applications, including Lotus Notes Mail, Microsoft Outlook/Exchange, RightFax Server, iManage, Open Text and others.

eCopy Essentials (Embedded)

With ShareScan Essentials, office workers can use their Canon MEAP enabled device to quickly and securely scan paper documents and distribute electronic copies as PDF files, increasing workgroup productivity through improved access to information. It offers document scanning to email, fax, network folders, and eCopy Desktop. In addition, ShareScan Essential’s platform architecture opens unlimited opportunities for integration with any business application through a variety of application integration capabilities.

ShareScan Essentials helps organizations save time, reduce costs and increase business results through an automated document management solution that securely puts paper documents directly into their electronic workflows.

ShareScan Essentials is available for Canon MEAP enabled devices with the embedded platform and includes server software that handles the processing and integration of document management scanning for back end systems.

eCopy Suite (Sharescan)

With ShareScan Suite software, office workers can use their Canon MFP/ DR Scanner for secure document scanning and seamless integration into business applications that support electronic business processes. It provides a consistent, easy to use interface across any capture device, promoting user adoption and increasing the value of enterprise hardware and business software investments.

The software offers native integration to leading document management scanning, email, fax, database, collaboration, and cost recovery software applications. This product comes complete with an eCopy connector to imageWARE Document Manager.

· eCopy ScanStation™ includes a freestanding touch screen and keyboard that connects easily to any scan-enabled Canon MFP or DR Scanner. The ScanStation includes all the hardware and document imaging processing software required to run eCopy ShareScan.
· eCopy Embedded is a software client for Canon MEAP enabled devices with the embedded platform, enabling eCopy ShareScan to be accessed from the MFP’s touch screen, and server software.
